Juntai Lu is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the College of Business, Auburn University at Montgomery. He obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Arkansas. He won the Junior Faculty Award in 2023 and the Research Award in 2024. Juntai is an active CFA® charterholder.

Juntai's research focuses on political economy, behavioral corporate finance, and corporate innovation. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Energy Economics, Quarterly Journal of Finance, and Finance Research Letters. His research has been featured by media outlets including the Columbia Law School Blog and Institutional Investors.

Juntai has taught many undergraduate and graduate courses. For undergraduate students, he has taught Principles of Financial Management, Intermediate Financial Management, Personal Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Financial Modeling. For MBA students, he has taught a general course on corporate finance.
